Hi!
I started removing the windshield trim of my 64:

1. removed wiper arms
2. removed screws from cowl vent panel
3. removed cowl vent panel
4. removed screws for lower trim LH and RH
5. removed lower trim LH and RH

till here it was easy going without any damage
But how is the windshield side trim attached?

The mouldings are held on by spring loaded clips.
If the rubber is hard from age, you may need to cut it with a boxcutter knife to access the clips.
