Does it make a difference what color black to have the frame powdered coat. Is so what do I tell the guy who is doing the work. Trying to do as original as possible. Thanks. David

 

Black should be black but the sheen will be important if this is a concourse-point type car.If not there aren't but a few that would know if semi gloss or semi flat was correct.On my car I found (best I could tell) there were both...Tedd

 

Eastwood has a paint called "Chassis Black" that's A satin finish ,but I don't know what it would be closest in powder coat.

 

Matte black or Simi-gloss is what you will want. Matte is a little closer in my opinion.

Here is another picture. The upper control arm is Matte and the chassis is simi gloss. Not much difference.
