Correct Paint/Powder Coat Shade for Frames

Hello,

What is the correct shade of semi-gloss black for replicating a stock factory frame? I am sending my frame to the powder-coater soon, but need to get the right "mix" down.. is it 40% gloss? or less??

Thanks,

It varied some car to car, plant to plant, between semi-flat and semi-gloss. Since factory didn't use powder coating, you aren't totally hung up on originality anyway, and should just pick something in that range.

The mid 60s gm cars came in a black that is around 10 percent gloss or you can find this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GM-BL...spagenameZWDVW this is what GM used
