I have a question on the engine draft tube on my 57 371 engine, is there suppose to be a baffle where it hooks up to the block to keep the oil from escaping from the valley pan to the tube and to the ground? Also I read in the maintenance book that is was a option on the engine if you bought the Heavy duty oil bathe air cleaner if not is was not needed. Any help would be appreciated on this.
