cam Help

Hello,
I got a 455 that was built by the previous owner. I pulled the numbers stamped on the cam 260H10 and then T5417. It has CC stamped on it. The matches I get on it is a crane cam but for a BBC... Is this right? I need to pick a converter that matches the cam. This motor is supposed to be 10:1 comp. I was not planning on swapping the cam but should I? If so what is a street mannered cam that will pair well with a 69 block 30 over, flat top pistons, C Heads, performer intake and a 273 posi. I'm not planning on swapping gears as its a cruiser but don't want it to be a total dog.

Thanks,
