Is this 3rd main cap stock or has it been repaired?

What specifically about it makes you think it may have been repaired? I may not be seeing something but it looks like all of the others I have seen.

+1. Maybe it would help if you took a picture of the exact area in question, or told us what seemed unusual.
Looks like a normal set of caps to me.

Looks normal to me, the extra on the side is for thrust...or something, I don't remember what it's called, but yes, it's normal...if that's what you're asking.

Bearing #3 is the thrust bearing, which controls forward and backward movement.
Every engine has to have a thrust bearing.

It'll come off, it just needs a bit more "English."

All you have to do is push them out. You may have to tap on them with a punch and little hammer or the heel of your hand.
