C heads Ca heads?

C heads Ca heads?

Looking at 68/69 455 with Ca heads. Can someone explain the different from C heads?

No difference between C and CA.

I thought that it was a provision of some sort like a engineering change but not positive

Correct. There are CA and DA heads in existence. I don't know that anyone has ever been able to discover the exact differences from C and D heads. This may be something like a change in the casting cores for the water jacket, for example.
