If your going to use octane booster, buy lucas. That stuff works great. I use to run 93 octane and still get sum pinging, but i started useing octane booster and no more pinging.

I run and have run ethanol in my car for the last 2 years. I can't get no ethanol 93 here anymore. No problems, plenty of power, just lose about 10% on mileage.

I also run ethanol fuel in my 71 98. It runs fine. I don't care about gas mileage and as long as I run the 93 octane it doesn't ping.

I have not had any issues running it. It will attract moisture if you let the car sit for long periods of time, use a good fuel stabilizer. Use the 93 octane from a quality vendor.
