as some of you might have read i recently picked up a 425. the motor is complete except for some reason its missing the harmonic balancer. i searched around the net last night and today and cant seem to find a stock one.

so my question is would i be able to use the scat aftermarket one ? i found this one on jegs web site http://www.jegs.com/i/Scat/942/D-90022/10002/-1?CT=999

is this something i can use ?

That's a chunk of change! I'd be more inclined to purchase a used one and have it rebuilt. There's a company that lists on ebay all the time. His web site is: www.damperdoctor.com

I just went to it and he lists a damper for the 1965-67 330-403. I'm sure that's a typo, but looking through his list it doesn't sound like he's got the years/engine displacement correct. The picture looks pretty good though.

So I'd create a parts wanted thread and see if someone comes up with a good used one. I probably have a used one that needs rebuilt, the outer ring is a little crooked due to the rubber being old. John
