oldsmobile 455
oldsmobile 455
hi.i was wondering if forged pistons and work to the cylinder heads like a 3 angle valve job and a port and polish and a intake with a performance carburetor would add power to my stock 455?im looking to build for street performance motor.
Dozens of builds like that on here, but KB IC886 pistons, a good set of 2.072/1.68 BBO heads, a Performer and a decent cam will get you 400+hp and approach 500lbft of torque with no issues.
When you're ready for the cam let me know, I can help.

Im looking around for 350hp.I really dont have any driving experience,im 21.400 is to much but i think i can still have some fun with 350hp and the torque this motor puts out haha.
I agree, 350hp and 500lbft of torque is still very fun!
9.5:1, decent heads and a 228/235 or so cam with a good intake and headers will get you there. Just make sure you don't skimp on quality machine work.
Good luck!!
