what rocker studs 2 use 70 stock E heads
hi every1 my heads are in the shop gettn milled down for guide plates and rocker studs, does any 1 know the exact part number of rocker studs i need?? im going with 7/16 harland sharp rockers, i looked online and theres 2many different oldsmobile part numbers 2 choose from, i dont want 2 spend $150 arp's thank you

Why not get the 5/16x3/8 studs. How much spring pressure are you going to have? Most applications will be fine with the Comp Cams style conversion. Otherwise I don't think you can find 7/16 studs without tapping the existing holes. Again depending on the application not sure it's worth it.

LOL!!!!!!!! i was just gettn ready 2 email you 2 ask witch 1s to use, if you say get 5/16x3/8 thats what ill get!!! you know more about the spring pressure than i do these heads are going 2 have the springs your sending me and the roller cam your grinding so what ever you recommend is what ill use!!!! do you know the part number of the correct rocker studs 2 use for stock e heads??

I have done heads either way,and you don't need to mill the pads for guide plates.You could just leave them alone,and use the Harland Sharp shaft rockers.No guide plates,machining,or special treated pushrods needed.
