Any benefit
I am getting a O4B edelbrock manifold will there any benefit comapred to lets say a torker or will they be about the same ?? Or is the O4B just like a stocker manifold ??
I'm thinking the 04B is like an early performer, a dual plane design, where as the torker is a single plane.
04B should make you a good street intake. Yea, its like a stocker but lighter becouse its aluminum.
By the way, you cant' use an HEI with the 04B. You'll need a small body distributor.

The O4B is a good midrange street manifold. The Torker is designed for higher RPM performance.
Exactly, if it was a small block Ford then the runners were about 2 inches long!
Not the case on a 455 Torker, they're much much longer. Actually makes the manifold O.K for the street as long as it's mated to the right combo.

Just swapped a Torker for an 04B, a little better low end, and throttle response, I had to clearance the back of the manifold for my MSD 'Ready to Run' distributor, which has a smaller dia. than an HEI..
