I just got to thinking today when I was organizing all my engine parts. I am going to be switching from the 2BBL carb that is on my car back to a 4BBL that should be on the car. Am I going to have to hunt for a new throttle linkage for the 4BBL or will the same one work from the 2BBL??

 

I have a 70 SX with a 455 and when I did the swap from the 2 bbl to the 4 bbl the old throttle linkage worked fine.

I'm thinking your car has a partially threaded rod from the firewall to the carb. Hopefuly there's enough adjustment in it. But if that doesn't work out take some measurements and post what you need. John

 

Thanks John. I should prob open my eyes a little more. Like you said hopefully there is enough adjustment there.
