Has anyone had issues with Howard roller lifters. Very noisy Pre load was set These lifters were bought about 7years ago They were cleaned very well before installing anything to worry about

 

Who made them for Howard's? Erson/Morels had a lot of complaints about noise and being sticky.

 

They’re Morels, and mostly junk. Haven’t used them in years.

 

Howard’s switched who makes them, I don’t remember now who the new manufacturer is. I have a set in my 455 and they are quiet and work fine. They are about 2 years old. But the person who told me they switched manufacturers I trust with my life.

The Howard’s hyd rollers for Olds part#91464 are still made by Morel. Maybe they changed other brands to something other than Morel but the Olds is still Morel.
just got a set with a package date of Feb 2025

Morel part #5335 is also on the Howard’s box
