I have a 72 442 W30 with automatic and am wondering which diagram is correct for my car. Thanks for your help!

Top right is correct for the W-30 with power steering. Was just looking at this very page over the weekend for my W-30 and the correct alternator number. Lucky that I had one.

The HD generator was used on cars that had the optional electric grid rear window defogger.

Option 72 (HD generator and engine cooling) was not available on the 72 W-30s.

And you could get the optional electric grid rear window defogger on a 1972 W-30.
