I'm in the process of stripping down my 455 and I've got a bunch of parts I do not intend to use. I was curious if these would be useful to anyone else or if I should just send them for scrap?

I would try to sell them, but I don't think you will get much money for them.

 

MAW try to sell them if they aren't taking up too much space.

 

Post them in the Classifieds Oldsmobile Parts section/forum with a price of "Free to Good Home" whoever wants them pays shipping. You might have some look-see takers. Good Luck.

Heck, I just gave away a good set of G heads, only 455 heads worth anything are D, H, F, and maybe C’s..

 

Ten years from now, folks will pay big valve E head money for those J’s!!😅. Funny how Octania used to replicate J’s…,RIP..

 

Shipping is a big problem for heads even if they are desirable. Being you are in Canada is not going to help. I would probably scrap them.

 

That was kinda my thought, I just wanted tk make sure I wasn't holding onto something rare or valuable before I sent them to be melted down. PS, I thought that last picture was an identification stamp on the intake, not the firing order. my eyes are getting bad as I get older....
