66 toro camshaft

Im beginning a rebuild on my 425. Can someone recommend a source to have my cam/ lifters reground? OR a new set? I usually go to schneider cams for grinding but i want to be sure to get the right profile. Stock p/n is 390961. Also any thoughts on new lifters? Shops in my area wont even use flat tappet cams any more due to lifter failures. Thanks!

You may want to contact these folks, CAMCRAFT, they have been mentioned in here in the past. If this is in fact a Toronado 425 engine block it shall have the 0.921" diameter lifters and Mark Remmel, known as cutlassefi in these forums, would most probably have the correct non-Chinese made lifters.

Might be best to source the lifters and camshaft from the same supplier if that's possible. It could take one aspect of "finger pointing" out of the equation if there is a failure of either part.
