Back to machine shop

My plans have changed and my rebuilt, but never run, 455 is going back to the machine shop to have the crank drilled for a 4 speed. I figure this is the last time to make any other significant changes. It is (will be) a street only car (64 Cutlass.)

It is .030 over with an anticipated 9.5 compression ratio. I have a larger Milodon pan, high volume oil pump, MSD distributor, Edelbrock performer intake, Holley 870 carb Mondello heads & cam, and hooker headers. I was talked out of oil restrictors during the rebuild and still don't know if they are necessary.

Am I missing anything? Would a windage tray be advantageous?

Trash the restrictors. What piston and cam?
Mondello heads, hmmm. Aluminum? Ported or just cleaned up?

Pistons are a hypereutectic 14.5 cc, cam is hydraulic Engle/Mondello (either JM20-22 or JM22-25, don't remember) aluminum roller rockers, heads are Mondello/Edelbrock aluminum w/ 77cc volume.

Decent combo, should run fine if everything is assembled correctly.

It is the 7 quart pan. Only time I actually installed it in the car I had the front clip off so went in pretty easily.
