Question Correct rear main seal for 455?

Looking for a rms for my '76 455. This is the Ford 460 seal but doesn't match the CO seal thread # exactly. Just want to double check before I order.

Eric's (MDchanic's) part number = QBS40032

The seal I found = BS40032 and FELBS40032

https://pitstopusa.com/i-23916077-fe...-main-set.html

I'm assuming it's correct but just want to make sure.

Looks like the same part but different makers. Don't take what I'm about to say as gospel "but" according to Bill Travado he takes a utility knife and trims rubber from the outside of the seal. YouTube one of his videos for more info.

Yeah, I've seen that. But I'd rather just get the correct seal. I'm no Bill Travado! Lol.

Thanks, I had not seen that one before. The 2948 is Viton, the 40032 is plain rubber.

Well shoot. I already ordered the Mr. Gasket 1965 from Summit. I would love for this engine to not leak. Should I return it?
