What would these heads be worth?

I ran in to a guy locally that has a set of 'C' heads for sale. Bowls have been blended and mildly ported, Crossovers have been filled, Surfaced, New guides, Seats cut, and new valves faced (included). What do you think they are worth?

Including good springs and seals, assembled, maybe a grand, if he polishes out the surface rust and they haven't been milled past .030.

Of course, for a little more, you can get Bernard Mondello's aluminum ProComps.

X2!!!

I'd give him $500.00 max. With the advent of the Procomps etc., iron heads are going by way of the dinosour. Other than a stock appearing build they have no useful purpose.

Has anyone reported the performance numbers of ProComps yet? That's the only thing that has stopped me in the past from buying them. I'll be crossing that bridge again in a few months though.

Sorry for the hijack.
