What are these ports for?

I will take a shot as this looks to be a mid 70's emission carb. the one with the blue cap goes to the charcoal canister along with the lower one you have marked for that. I think the one in between them also goes to the canister. the other one labeled B with the rubber cap I think goes to the air cleaner for the heat riser control. keep in mind that is a guess from an aging memory as I dont deal with emission stuff much.

77 carb on 73 BB
It's a Holley rebuilt 77 Olds w/ auto (17057256) . Going on '73 w/o emissions crap. No EGR, No catalitic converters, just fuel and fire! Any help is appreciated.

the carb does not know what it is in, only what it was built for. if you are not hooking up any of the emissions stuff then all you really need is vacuum for the trans, power brakes, a/c vents and distributor. you can just cap off anything you dont need.

I do beleive what you have labeled as H is your ported vacuum port that will go to the distrubutor vac advance. Ported vacuum is a dead port at idle. The instant you come off idle the port is now active. Very easy to test that one to be sure. Just put your fingertip over the port and you shouldn't feel vacuum. Give some throttle and all of a sudden you should feel vacuum. This is so that your vac advance is not advancing your initial timing at idle.
