what do F heads look like
In addition to the large letter there's a casting number specific to the heads. Above the center exhaust port, near the valve cover, on both sides of the head bolt are the numbers. For the E it would be 403 686 Then for the F it would be 404 438 Those numbers cannot be faked. John

F heads
yes and werent those heads stapmedwith w_30 on them and they also had 2 raised ribs on the end of the head and those are the marks im not finding on these heads that i have seen those f heads are impossible to find well on this earth any way
Do you have a 1970 W30 car? If you watch ebay and the Oldsmobile sites the D and F heads come up a few times a year. I think the H heads are more like one set every few years. Expect to pay $3,000-4000 for a set though so unless you've got the correct car needing those heads it probably isn't worth spending that kind of money. Other heads could be made to flow better for much less. My 2 cents. John
