What can I expect ?

Hey guys ... Just wondering what you guys think I should expect from some bolt on upgrades

I was running a w-30 cam with J heads , stock intake , Holley 750, and manifolds. That combo ran high 13's

I just was thinking of swapping on large valve E heads , a torker, and 1 3/4 headers with a higher 3200 stall.

Leaving the w-30 cam helps keep this a 'low' budget , and easy ...

The E heads have some minor bowl work, heat crossovers filled , .020 milled

Open headers and that much stall speed alone should be good for a half second at the least.....If the carbs right.

Anyone ever run a torker / w-30 cam combo ?

I'm hoping the E heads would make the most difference

Use a Performer, not a Torker.

All I have is a torker ...

U think the torker and 328 W-30 are that far off as a match ?

If this is a cam that pulls to 5500 the torker should work fine ... It's I ether that or the stock cast iron...

Sell it or exchange it for a Performer.

I could see you breaking into the high 12's if everything is tuned right. What car is this in?

I have a 66 cutlass ...

Doing the engine swap in April ...

I picked up a cheap torker and want to try a single plane. I'm really curious to see how this motor will respond to the changes ...

I didnt run it, it came on a 455 i bought to rebuild. I am getting rid of it because im not fond of edelbrock carbs, so I am swapping to a square bore holley and need a manifold to match.

I put a torker and a Holley 750 on my 455 with speed pro 2323 pistons E heads and comp cam, Magnum (270
/224) and didnīt get impressed. Changed back to stock iron manifold and 795 Rochester. Different car, very impressed.
