Variation on engine vin derivative stamping

Variation on engine vin derivative stamping

Most of the engine vin pics I see are of one row with a 32MXXXXXX stamp. The 455 in my H/O says 32 XX XX XX and is missing the letter and it's in pairs. Looks hand hit. May be a replacement block? Surface is as cast.

Not a factory stamp.
