Angry valve cover oil leaking

Hello, I just build my 400 engine (1966 442) put like 500 kms on it.

But the Oil leaking from the breather of the valve cover (co-pilot side) is drive me crazy, its too much.... every time I put a little gas on the car, the oil starts leaking from the breather...

I have some questions:

1. what can cause all this oil leaking?? I measure the compressions of each cylinder and im between 160-180, so I dont think im having a blow-by???
2. is that normal on olds engines?
3. Do I build something wrong in my engine?
4. Is necessary for the engine to breathe from both sides or can I put like a tampon on the leaking side?

thanks for the help

Do you have the "PCV" valve hooked up? It seams to me the PCV valve should be on the passenger side and the breather on the drivers side.

I dont have a PCV valve intalled, what im worried about is if I install the pcv valve on passenger side, the valve is going to suck all the oil?? and then damage my carburetor, etc???
