tailpipes

I am looking for a couple stock tailpipes(LH, RH) for a 71 cutlass conv. I installed a 442 rear bumper and bought tips. My local parts stores don't list anything that old. Anyone know where I can find some online?

www.walkerexhaust.com has all their exhaust system illustrations on line. Unfortunately, when I checked for a 71 442, the tailpipes are no longer available. Interestingly, the do still list the chrome trumpets. The Cutlass tailpipes are still listed, but these have the downturns at the end. You can cut those off to install your trumpets, but you may need to weld in a short piece of straight pipe to get the correct length. Note that all Olds A-bodies used 2" tailpipes, Cutlii and 442s. If you want to go larger, many aftermarket vendors sell 2 1/2 tailpipes. Unfortunately, at that point your trumpets won't fit. Pypes Exhaust (www.pypesexhaust.com) sells 2 1/2" trumpets.

Here's the 442 illustration:

And here's the Cutlass illustration
