Suitable dual snorkle aircleaner that is close to the 68 OAI?

Going more for the look than originality. Has anyone found a relatively close dual snorkle air cleaner to use for a 68 with OAI? The early 70's Corvette and others look kinda close.

Thank you!

The Corvette one is probably closest.

The 6 cylinder base appears to use the same snout...

Late 70s - early 80s Corvette as I believe was recently discussed here. I had one that iirc I sold to someone on this forum, they’re doable & inexpensive. I didn’t use it as I happened upon a 68 assy relatively local at a reasonable price. Still on the red 70 after 15 years

If you’re up to it, seek out the most similar air cleaner(s) and use the snorkels to graft onto an olds body. If you search enough in here, you might find an old thread describing this sorcery but it was a long time ago in my marginally reliable memory.

I believe they’re selling repops but don’t know what kind of money they go for.

Then there’s aftermarket Spectre brand setups that could be made to work

I’ll be doing one for a customer soon. she bought the late 70’s corvette breather. The one snorkel is angled down quite a bit and they are much tighter on the spread

the snorkels are also shorter than stock. I might just cut them both off the corvette housing and weld onto the factory base at the correct spread and height.

I’ll post pics soon of what’s the best way to make it work

That's what I was figuring... If I could spread them a bit apart, tack on 2-3" of metal... Make it close. Again, not looking for perfection.. Just close...
