Rod Knock

I took my olds out of storage yesterday and it developed a rod knock a few miles after putting it through the gears. The motor is remanned. The builder stands behind his work. Question: Will my small block stuff fit on a BB? Like the water pump, oil pan, etc? If this engine is coming out a BB is going in.

Yes the oil pan, valve covers, water pump, timing cover, distributor, brackets for Alternator, power steering pump, AC will all interchange. The exhaust manifolds for the small block will bolt up to the big block but not breath as well. John
