i got a serious sound on my 73 delta 88

as i own this car the makes while brakeing in lower speed abour 10 mph small pulsating moves liek the brake disks are not 100% round.
my mechanic told me that thsi is not a problem

but since days i have also a knock knock voice while braking , but also in low speed at 10mph. the voice is definetely comming ftom the right front brake

it only appears when braking

sounds loke the brake body isnt well munted ... or something

netx week want to pull the tire down and try to take a look at it, but does anybody has such a problem before and may tell me his toughts where this can came from or how to identify that issue ?

Who's there? It sounds like your brake rotor is warped causing the caliper to speak to you as it vibrates around.

I've seen control arms bushings make noise when bad but usually it does it over bumps to

Hey
I was in a garage and we checked it. The lower und upper ball joints are worn.

So now when the brake does pulsating it makes the nouse from the joints.

So i have to replace the rotors. Or pulsating also come from the power brakes?


Does anybody has replaced the ball joints these yet? I think these has to be replaced also. Or may the problem is solved when the brake wont pulsate anymore..

So the car shimmy's while braking ?

If ball joints have play yes they need to be replaced how were these checked ?

If the ball joints are bad I would make sure The bushings are good take care of all problems once instead if doing the job twice
