Rear main seal sell as is or fix???

Hey all,
Since buying my car back from 9 years ago it has a rear main seal leaking.
I cannot do these kind of jobs anymore. Does anybody have the resources to help me fix it here in NY, or should i abandoned ship and just sell it. what should it cost for a rear main to be repaired. the motor could use afreshening up as it is getting kind of tired. it runs great but i think it's just time for the motor to come out.

Are you sure it's the rear main? And how much does it leak?

Could also be the rear of the manifold or the distributer - I'd be checking those before condemnation!
