Pro Comp Intakes, are they any good?

I'm seeing some reasonable prices on the Pro Comp intakes. I am wondering if they are any good. Does anyone have any experience with them. They sure seem to be cheaper than Edelbrock.

On their dual planes people have been running them and have reported they are better than the Performer intakes on air flow and ETs. They are taller as well, and may cause hood clearance problems on some cars.

On the single planes they have, I have no idea if they work well.

When they first came out I saw some come through the shop I worked at and they were junk. I didn't think it was possible to screw up an intake so bad. From my understanding, they have come a long way since then.

Thanks for the replies. I think I will steer clear. Hopefully I will find something at Jefferson.
