power steering pump bracket and pressure hose - plz have a look

Hi!
The PS pump on my Turnpike Cruiser E400 is leaking oil. Therefore I looked closer and found out that the bottom bracket screw wasn't tight on the block. BUT it took a lot of force to tighten the screw only a small bit and I got anxious to ruin the thread.

1. Question: Is there supposed to be a spacer between bracket and block that is just missing? Or is the bracket bent? Or should I just attack the screw with more force?

The leak seems to come from the pressure hose, where the hose is fixed by the metal clip.

2. Question: is it possible to repair a pressure hose or should I get a new one?
Many thanks in advance! Cheers Thufir

Many thanks for the fast response!

After further research and a closer look in the assembly manual I found out that there is supposed to be a stud with two nuts fixing the battery cable between block and bracket - it seems over the years some mechanic decided to reroute the cable ^^

Any recommendations to the leaking pressure hose? Is it possible to tighten the metal clip at the end?

Cheers - Thufir
