Yeah in my research I have saw that it happens from time to time. 1st time it happened to ME though lol. I'll be happy when the new carb gets here

Got the new carb installed. Idles now but not as smooth as I'd like. One of the carb bolt holes is partially stripped. You can tighten it...but if you tighten it up too much it'll loosen up on ya and you'll have to re tighten it just enough so it gets to the point before it loosens back up.

I have a Helicoil kit but I haven't fixed it yet. Waiting for the weekend. I'm just test driving it right now
