pics of how my build is going so far

a box form jegs and comp cams came in today. some bad *** looking trw racing forged 10.1 pistons a comp cams extreme energy 284 cam advertised duration 286/296 at 50 inch lift 240/246 and the lift 574/578 so pretty beefy cam with comp cam kit 1442-2 roller rockers,push rod,springs,guide plates,etc.every thing to install new cam with the rollers.

lots of work but the bottom end is wow new std crank and clevite bearings all snugged to spec oil pan on but looks like crap oh well something to do later. those new trw pistons look sweet in the block.

heres the car looks empty with the motor out lol. the new oil pan looks awsome sitting on the engine.got my new midwest 3000 to 3200 stall convertor.

cleaned and repainted the block looks clean and really good with that new oil pan.figured couldnt put a dirty intake on a clean motor so cleaned and repainted it as well as the termostat housing should be a awsome running and looking motor gonna try to get the new cam in and put the c heads back on after they dry from rebuilding and painting i will post more pics and info as get more done thanks for looking.

Front end looks good for a 74. Hows the rest of the body holding up? This a 2 door?

yes it is a two door allan and the body is mint now i paid 2500 to put a new roof on the car because it had a vynal top that ate the roof and the body shop felt bad for me and the redid the doors so now the body is ment i replaced the floors when i first got it thanks for commenting

heres a video of her before i devolped the lower end knock causing my rebuild that the pics are of and this was done with the 8.1 comp pistons and a small lunati cam on my cell phone oh and you can see the top i was talking about the cost me a new roof lol wait for the comercial to get done then the video will play thanks and enjoy.http://video.cardomain.com/VideoPlayer.aspx?id=656687
