Omega motor mounts
#2
Welcome. I moved your question to it's own thread because resurrecting an eight year old thread that is only marginally related is probably not the best way to get an answer. As for your Omega, if it has an Olds 350 now, you need nothing. The 455 bolts to exactly the same rubber motor mounts and frame pads as the 350. There are three threaded motor mount holes on each side of an Olds block. Use the front two for attaching the rubber motor mounts for your Omega. Use the same rubber mounts as were used on the 350. DO NOT try to buy "455" motor mounts. FYI, RockAuto shows completely incorrect motor mounts for the 1974 Omega.

Thanks for the information. Having a hard time navigating around this website.( not very techy) I've noticed that the old frame pads out of 1976 98 we'll fit the top 2 holes on the cross member but not the bottom. Also have original motor mounts still on motor.

I'll ask again, what motor did the Omega come with originally, the six or the Olds 350?
