Oil pressure gauge for the 394

I have the gauge but haven't crawled under the engine to look for where it will hook up to...where will I find the connection for it? This is the mechanical style gauge vs the electrical.

If memory serves me on mine there was a fitting on the screw on type oil filter housing assembly. I do not know if this holds true for the cannister type filter.

Maniac is right. Oil senders for these engines are on the oil filter adapter housing. RH side of engine underneath the car. Make sure you put a vibration loop in the tubing and run it thru a grommet where it passes thru the firewall. Copper tubing preferred over the plastic junk that comes with most gauges.

I agree, I had a gauge on my CJ5 Jeep and it was the plastic tubing at first and after it sprayed all over me I switched it to copper. I found fair prices on the tubing on eBay unless anyone else has a better suggestion. $15.95 shipped was about the best I found.
