Inline Tube, Mondello, etc.

It's nothing more than a 1/4npt pipe plug with a .040 hole in it if you wanted to go that route

Isn't it a 3/8" NPT? Hex socket pipe plugs can be found at any good (e.g., not Home Depot or Lowes) hardware store.

What I've done in the past is drill a larger (say, 1/8") pilot hole most of the way through the plug, then punch the hole with the small bit. Bits that small are pretty weak, so drilling all the way through can be a challenge. Especially without a drill press.

Note that OEM used a 5/16" square drive plug. The appropriate socket is available at Sears, etc.

Get a brass one. They're easier to drill.

Thanks for all the replies. Since I did not have the proper bit and my drill press would not close small enough I ordered a drilled plug. Mondello was the only source I could find.
thanks
