Oil dipstick for olds 455

Hey everyone, I have a 67 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. I took the 330 in it out, and dropped a Olds 455 big block in it. However we had major trouble with the oil dipstick. Does anyone know where I could find one, or what y'all use for a dipstick. The motor was completely rebuilt, and is already in the car and seems to run really well. But I kinda need a dipstick lol. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this is also my first project car.

Which dipstick tube is on the engine? The dipstick needs to match the tube. The 66-67 tubes are different from the 68-up tubes and the dipsticks are different as a result.

Currently there isn't one. We just have a plug in it.

As long as the tube and dipstick are a matched pair, you should be good. Might not be a bad idea to change the oil and refill with a known amount of oil just to verify where the full mark should be.

The Spectre chrome dipstick and tube is the only chrome one that actually fits tight, tried multiple ones. You may have to sand it slightly on the ribs.
