my dream 455

my dream 455
I am in the research stage of planning a '70 442 build for the 2014 powertour. I have posted questions about this in the past with no responses, so I am trying again. I am building a very stock appearing driver. It will have a tremec 5 or 6 speed and fast EFI, although I haven't decided on port injection or TBI. I need the engine to be stock appearing to the untrained eye, and I would like most of the mods hidden. I also need the most streetable performance I can muster. I am thinking of larger displacement, I have heard 496 is possible. I also would consider aluminum heads powder coated to match the engine. I would like to here any ideas that people have experience with and that they know work well. This will be a project that puts reliability and driveability as a top priority. I would like any comments on items such as types of roller rockers, pistons, cams, and suggestions of quality engine builders. Thanks in advance for your time and input.

Thank you gentlemen. I appreciate the kind words.
CWracer - if you're going for the ultimate in drivability then a TBI is NOT what you want, especially the EZ EFI as it has limited tunability and no spark control. Multiport is really the way to go. If you look at my signature I'm speaking from experience.
And not sure why you would automatically choose a FAST system. Besides the BS3 they have the fewest transient fueling tables in this class of system. Transient fueling equates to drivability, plain and simple.
Email me directly if you like, happy to help. I can give you a list of items to get you headed in the right direction, i.e. cam, heads, pistons, intake and fuel system parts.
Best of luck in your project.
