Look for a spark plug wire that got knocked loose when you changed the mounts. Auto zone sells the same imported mounts that everyone else sells. The correct mounts would have been 2328 style

From AutoZone they are probably Duralast brand, made in the same Chinesium factory as Anchor. That still isn't going to make the motor vibrate.

The reason the engine shakes is due to a misfire, not the mounts.

these Chinese ones that are $10 will rip apart with modest power increases.

And yet, still not the cause of this misfire-induced vibration.

Joe, would you replace motor mounts with what is available today on a ‘70 Cutlass 350 c.i. 4-barrel as preventative maintenance if the original motor mounts aren’t broken?

I wouldn't replace them unless you can see cracks in the rubber. It's the driver's side that's under tension load, and the easy test here is to rev the motor with the trans in drive while someone is watching the motor. If the engine lifts excessively, replace the mounts. Otherwise, it's not really necessary.

Thanks, as always, for your expertise Joe.
