Lifter Size or Part #? 67-400

I've now ordered two lifters from two different local parts houses, and two different brands (Sealed Power and Clevite).

When they come in, they are about 1/8" shorter, and 1/8" smaller in diameter than what is in the car.

NOW I'm seeing a different part in summit that says it is for a 'degree bank engine only'.... ??????

Any part numbers for lifters for a stock 1967, 400 c.i., 442 motor?

These are not funky race lifters or anything like that, just a regular OEM/stock style hydraulic lifter.

You need the .921 dia lifters for the '66-'67 400 E blocks. Expect to pay a premium for them.

I believe the 66 67 Toro 425 engine also used these so make sure application is for that engine as well.

Clevite looks like it might be a 213-1678. Sealed Power might (or might not) be H957, based on their cross reference sheet.

Anybody got any idea on who might have these things in stock?

It looks like Summit has started cutting inventory as everything I've ordered lately was on 'back order'. They are saying 6/19/09 at earliest on this part number?

I can't get local parts house to pull it up under any of these numbers.

I got mine from"Kanter" auto parts, a few months back for $9.50 ea.
Also "Egge" auto parts had them for $11.50 ea.
I'm not sure of the ones on Ebay. They say 57/64 Olds. I don't know if they oil up threw the push rod.
"VL59 was the number I used for "Kanter" auto parts

Thanks. I thought about Kanter as well later last night, and put in an order, though I think the number is different. As I was hitting the final button, I noticed it said "MIN 16", so not sure if they are going to ship only the two I ordered or not.
