J heads

I've got a set of J heads with a casting # of 411783. I bought the motor for the block and don't need this heads. They've been through a machine shop about 12 years ago and were never installed. Are this heads worth anything and if so what would be your best guess on how much I could get for them?

Sure they are worth something. Determine what you have in them and see if you can get that out of them. As far as desire-ability they are lower on the list than others but they would still work for a daily driver. If the machine shop did the job right then they are ready to go right?

they would need a litttle work still. How would they work on a small block?
I gave 200.00 for a standard bored 350 block. The heads, pistons, a 260 crank, were all part of the deal.

I couldn't even get $20 for mine.
I ended up trading them for a slightly bent delta bumper.
They're decent heads with a little work.
2quick over on oldspower runs 12.04 with them.
