Its a Mystery.......

Marvels that is. I've been running MMO in both the fuel and oil in my 64 D88. Good spark, no knock and slightly improved mileage.

Anyone else use the product? What results are you seeing?

I've got no problem with MMO, same with seafoam. They really do work and they've both been around a loong time.

I use it occasionally in my fuel and oil. I'll run it a few hundred miles in my oil prior to an oil change.

I have seen Seafoam on this side of the pond, have not seen the Marvel Mystery Oil.
I used a product called Prolong several years back, ( 1995- 1997 if I recal ) it seemed to work well at the time in my 86 Olds Cutlass Supreme with the 305 chebby. Ran smoother with improved throttle response. Haven't seen it on the shelf for years now or I would buy it again.

Sounds like either Seafoam/Marvel Mystery would make a difference in my 76 Olds with a stock 350.
Since you guys have had good luck with these additives, I think I would like to try it for this coming long weekend.
Marvel Mystery oil in the picture you posted says , 2 & 4 cycle oil ? Is this OK for our V8 engines ?
Different bottle to be looking for ?

I use it. Had a few old old timers turn me on to it when I had a model A.

I ran some through my 76 Olds 350 fuel tank over the weekend . Took it for a good 2 hour cruise. Found specs of I would assume fuel/oily substance along with black specs all over my rear bumper and trunk lid.
I also added it to the oil.
I found the fuel had an odd smell once we parked to go shopping, nothing seemed to change with adding it to the oil .
I will continue to monitor what happens in time.
Didn't have time to pull the plugs yet, but will have a looksie after I run the tank of fuel out.
