Intake manifold bbo wiw?

Just wondering what the going price is.398662-j going to look at it tommorrow.The guy claims it to be from a 68 442. Nick

Beware the common crack right between the large carb bores.



above photo is after magnaflux
Take a magnifying glass and a good strong light.
It can be hard to detect.

Also, look for a crack on the LH head gasket surface, where the stress relief hole is... at the two obvious thin sections designed to bear a crack should it need to occur, and stop its propagation.

I had a couple some years ago, that I sand blasted and painted, and I had a hard time getting $75.

This is not a rare, high-desireability, or high-value part at all.

I'd say $50 would be high in used unrestored condition. As Harv says, he had trouble getting 75 for a restored one.
