How fast wood a 68/69 400G have to run in the 1/4?

Example: we will use my peanut port Chevelle, the altitude will not matter as we use MPH over 1320 to determine actual observed crank shaft HP. So I unload @ Denver and run 11.04 @ 118.0 MPH @ 3720 pounds. 118 MPH over 1320 @ 3720 pounds is 471 observed crank shaft HP no matter were the run is made. We know 1320/118 is 11.18............so how did I run 11.04, thats because my efficiency is over 100 percent, due to very efficient use of my available power, car setup, drive train, but 1320/MPH remember is just a jumping off point, you can do better than this formula depending how you use your available power. If you look at NHRA stock eliminator records you will notice most cars run under this formula. I hope this answers your questions.

Bone stock. Ran consistent 14.0's @ 100 101 mph. On eagle st tires 3:42 gears, 4 speed post car. Just pulled it out of the garage after being retired for 25 years. Im building a replacement g code 400 for it now with the intention of taking it back to the pure stock drags in Michigan next year. It will be getting a set of 391 gears and a bump in compression to the rule limit. I expect low 13 out of it

Its been forever since I weighed it. But memory has it at 3480 but you know how that goes. With headers a torker and Holley i got it to 13 70s. Then the 455 went in. The 455 got it to 13 teens. Then i went to drop a 4.10 gear set in and found the upper control arms were ripping the frame apart. Has been sitting ever since. Welded frame and rebuilt the original engine with cheap Ohio cast pistons with a mile of quench. Runs ok. Have another g block I'm building right.
