Headers That Work With Clutch 1970 Cutlass

I am looking to buy new a reasonably priced set of headers to use in my 70 Cutlass 455 that will work with a clutch 4 speed set up. I was told that the ARH would do the job, but they are really high priced. Looking for a cheaper alternative. I have a set of Hooker 3202's 1 7/8 that will not work with hears. Thank you.

Thanks for the input. ARH stainless headers cost around $1300. Dick Miller's cheapest are $842. Just did some checking on Summit. Flow Tech, Headman, and Doug Thorley all have 1 3/4 inch headers rated for both on the column auto as well as floor shift manual trans. These range from $170-700. My headers, Hooker 3202 are not rated for manual transmission. They are 1 7/8 inch. Not really necessary for my street car 450 HP.

So, Hooker 3202's 1 7/8 inside frame headers for sale. I will post this properly in the for sale section. Can't remember if they are ceramic. PM me if anyone interested. Thank you.

Actually, the application note from the Holley (Hooker's parent company) website says the following:

Will not fit column mounted standard or floor mounted automatics or Cutlass Supreme models. Hooker long tube headers do not come with header reducers.
So if we believe this, the 3202s ONLY fit column shift automatics and floor shift manual trans. Of course, that makes ZERO sense, since floor shift AT has zero interference with the headers. Also, the "does not fit Supremes" tells me these notes are worthless.

I have Doug Thorley's, on my 70, fit fine. You have to install the Z bar, with the header to get it in.

I can't remember the number. I bought them quite a few years ago, from Summit, At the time they were about $350, they are the nickel plated ones, not ceramic coated ones, seems like the number was something like 334?
