I have used summit headers on a couple of builds. They worked ok on a dodge dart, a 4x4 ramcharger, a 68 mustang and just today I put a set on a 4x4 suburban. They are of "decent" quality but not to the level of TTIs or anything like that. Of course the price is a lot better. On the bold vehicles I didn't have to bash or dimple them or anything. The dart, well let's just say I cussed a lot.

Can't help with the particular fitment for you, though. Sorry.

Well i don't have alot to spend and i am sure a set of these headers would be better then what i am using now..My only concern is if they would fit without having to beat the crap out of them..There looks to be alot of space under the hood...I guess the best bet would be order a set and see if they will clear everything..I just wish i knew someone here that has already used a set on a 1973 olds 98..

I just installed a set of Hedman headers, I had to make some clearance on tube 3.

as well I had to clearance the rear of the passenger upper control arm to clear tube 6.

headers aren't fun to install on many vehicles, so for 119 buck I say go for it and good luck.

For a 119 bucks. I would imagine they're junk. You have to make them fit. Having gasket leaks sucks. I could be wrong. The only thing that I have ever had cheap headers work on is Chevy trucks.

Yes, the 88 and 98 are mechanically identical forward of the firewall. The difference is primarily the longer wheelbase. As for price, with headers you definitely get what you pay for.

Buy these headers instead:

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HED-58150/

They are only $70 more. I put a set of Hedman Hedder # 58158 in my 71 98 and they fit without any modification. The # 58150 are the same except the flanges aren't as thick and they are painted instead of coated.
