Engine Pulleys

I'm trying to put together an air conditioning unit for my 63 88 Conv with components from Vintageair. I'm using a 455 from a 72 B or C body and have complete sets of pulleys from both 72 and 73 B or C bodies. Vintageair manual says that I need pulleys that match crankshaft pulley stamped 399495 for their compressor bracket to work. Does anyone know if either of my sets are the same, neither have stamped numbers on them? Thanks.

399405 would be a KC crank pulley which goes with KF water pulley, and a 5.6" water pump snout.

I have never heard of 399495

Pulleys

My bad. Should read 399405. Thanks. Can't find any stamping on the pulley sets that I have. One of the crankshaft pulleys bolts up right on the crankshaft damper and the other other sits out about an inch from the damper.

If you request via email to

rocketscience442@hotmail.com

I can send you an Excel database from which you can ID pulleys based on diameter and width. Figure out sets, etc.

Be sure your subject line is succinct and appropriate

emails with BS or no subject line are deleted unread because I get 40 BS a day and maybe ONE real email.
