Edelbrock Air Gap

Was wondering if anyone is running the edelbrock air gap manifold on a 455 engine with a stock hood? im thinking of running one on a 68 442 with a factory hood.

Where have you been? For about 2 years now.
It'll only fit with a significant drop base air cleaner.

But may not be the best for your combo, what will that be?

I guess I haven't been paying much attention to 455 build threads.

I'm running an air gap on a 455 with a stock air cleaner. It only touches the underhood insulation. If the insulation wasn't there it would fit with plenty of clearance. Where you getting your info? You running this combo?
