difference 455 1970 and 1971

hello,
the olds engine is new for me and therefore if some questions.
what is the difference between the 1970 and 1971 455 engine? just the heads or more (crankshaft...)?
in the books i saw they have the same amount of hp, just the torque is higher on the 70s. is there not a big difference on these two engines? or how much they realy have. im happy to get some information and help .
thanks rainer

and one more question: the engine runs great but what would you do? i think whats always helps is a high volume oil pump, bigger oil pan. anything else?

70 is high compression, and 71 they lowered the compression. Also the 71 heads have harden seats, so you can run non leaded gas. There both good motors
